Agrícola El Cerrito Begins 2025-2026 Season

July 9, 2025

The company began the pruning phase, a milestone that marks the start of the new season with the preparation of the vines for grape budding.

After concluding the 2024-2025 season, Agrícola El Cerrito began preparing the vines for a new season, both in its traditional and organic crops.

“We are in a period of recess for our plants. We are starting this new 2025-2026 season by performing production pruning in all orchards. We are inducting and training our staff so they understand the importance of this task, which is fundamental to the final production result, since it is at this moment that we begin to define the orchard’s productivity,” explained Gustavo Ricke, general manager of Agrícola El Cerrito.

Ricke also stated that while last season had been challenging from a commercial perspective, important milestones had also been achieved for the future of the company. “The overall quality of our grapes, as well as our first organic shipments abroad, are facts that make us happy and optimistic about the future,” Ricke concluded.
