August 25, 2025Last Tuesday, August 5th, we actively participated in the seminar “Organic Table Grape Production in Northern Chile,” held in the city of Ovalle and organized by INIA and Exportadora Subsole, with support from FIA, Corfo, and Frutas de Chile.
More than 200 attendees, producers, advisors, exporters and researchers gathered to address key topics such as phytosanitary management in organic systems, certification, regenerative agriculture and trade challenges.
Gustavo Ricke, General Manager of Agrícola El Cerrito, shared our experience with organic certification processes, setting a valuable precedent for the industry.
Advisors Rodrigo Sapiain and Felipe León addressed topics such as soil health, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable alternatives for phytosanitary management, reinforcing our commitment to responsible, profitable, and forward-looking agriculture.
These types of events strengthen public-private collaboration, knowledge sharing and the promotion of a more sustainable production model for northern Chile.
